Intelligence for the open world.

Intelligent systems for living, changing environments.

Our thesis

Intelligence grows through working together

Living environments keep changing as we try to understand them. Weather alters conditions, organisms grow and move, and every intervention influences what happens next. People learn to work in these places through repeated contact, developing a sense of what is normal and which changes deserve a closer look.

An intelligent system has to keep up with the place it serves. As conditions change, it must revisit what it learned yesterday, drawing on fresh observations and the experience of the people who work there.

Machines extend our attention across distances and times we cannot cover ourselves, while people give those observations context and question what they mean. Each informs the other: the system learns from human judgment, and the person working with it sees more of their environment and gains more room to act.

Satellites, drones, cameras, lidar and rovers each contribute a different view. We connect their observations over time so that people and machines can build a shared understanding of a place. What we notice today changes how we interpret what came before and what we choose to do next.

We build for this symbiosis: technology learns from human experience, and people discover possibilities through what it helps them see and do. We are beginning with cattle ranches, where the value of that relationship is measured in an ordinary working day.

Our mission

To build intelligent systems that learn from people and work alongside them across vast, living environments, expanding what we can understand and accomplish together.
